Kawa grow into a beautiful timber tree or can be pollarded or coppiced to suit your space. It is a rust resistant cultivar.

Poles will be sent out in winter. Push into soil up to 40cm and mulch. These poplar are quick to establish. If you cannot plant out straight away sit in a shady place in a bucket of water.

We use them for;

• Ramial wood chip production -my favorite as you get loads of long straight growth perfect to put through a mulcher.
• mychrozzial link species.
• Shelter and fodder for stock.

• Quick growing pioneer species to establish hedgerows.
• Whittling.
• Their copious leaf fall.
• Firewood for rocket stoves and firebaths.
• Timber
